Notas

  • Use Freshly Brewed Coffee – A strong, freshly brewed coffee works best, preferably a medium or dark roast for a rich flavor.
  • Choose a Quality Irish Whiskey – Traditional choices include Jameson, Bushmills, or Tullamore D.E.W. for an authentic taste.
  • Dissolve the Sugar Completely – Stir the brown sugar well into the hot coffee before adding the whiskey for a smooth consistency.
  • Whip the Cream Lightly – The cream should be lightly whipped until thick but still pourable to float properly on top.
  • Pour Cream Over a Spoon – Slowly pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon to ensure it floats and creates a beautiful layered effect.
  • Do Not Stir After Adding Cream – Irish Coffee is meant to be sipped through the cream for the perfect balance of flavors.
  • Sweetness Adjustment – If you prefer a sweeter coffee, add an extra teaspoon of brown sugar.
  • Non-Alcoholic Option – Skip the whiskey and add a dash of vanilla extract for a cozy, non-alcoholic version.
  • Best Served Immediately – Irish Coffee is best enjoyed fresh while it's hot and the cream is still floating.
  • Glass Selection Matters – A heatproof glass or mug is ideal for serving and enhances the visual appeal.
