  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 1 jar of pasta sauce
  • 1 can of tinned tomatoes
  • 2 tins/cans of beans of choice
  • 250g or 9 oz. spaghetti   
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  • 1 cup of cheese of choice
  • 1 cup water
  • To serve – fresh basil and cheese


  1. Place all ingredients into your crock pot with pasta and cheese on top.
  2. Cover and cook on low for three-to-four hours.
  3. Serve and garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkle of cheese.

  • 1 onion, chopped

  1. Add all the ingredients to your crock pot (except for the spinach).
  2. Cover and cook on low for six hours or on high for three hours.
  3. Add in the spinach leaves and stir through.

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 6 large carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tin/can lentils, drained
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • Sprinkle of pepper
  • 1 litre (or 4 ¼ cups) of water


  1. Place lentils, carrots, onion, ginger, garlic, turmeric, paprika and pepper into your crock pot. Pour in water and vegetable stock.
  2. Cover and cook on low for six to eight hours.

  1. Place all ingredients except basil into your crock pot.
