It’s the holidays! That means more get-togethers, more cute outfits, and more Thanksgiving makeup looks! A neutral look filled with brown shades is the easiest and safest way to go when it comes to Thanksgiving makeup. In most eyeshadow palettes, you can find a few really good brown shades and just blend those onto your eyes!
You can make neutral eyeshadow looks as simple or as intricate as you’d like. One way to add some wow to it is by doing a cut crease! Take some concealer and carve out the shape of your eyelid. You can do a half-cut crease and blend some shadow on the ends or go all out with a full-cut crease!
To get you started we gathered a couple of our favorite neutral palettes. A cult favorite is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam! It has so many beautiful neutral colors and some pinks. Their shadows are amazing and blend seamlessly!
Another great palette that is a bit more affordable is Juvia’s Place The Chocolates Eyeshadow Palette. This one is perfect for beginners since it only has a few shades but follows a pretty color story!
Fall time is here.. the leaves change colors, nights get longer and lipsticks get darker. What better way to spice up your Thanksgiving makeup than with a bright and bold lip color! They’re the perfect way to add a pop of color, especially when paired with neutral eye makeup. A color we have been obsessed with recently is the burnt orange terracotta shade. It reminds us of a pumpkin pie, the perfect fall shade!
Maybelline’s SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in the shade Globetrotter will give you this color with a formula that will last you all night long!
Another classic fall lipstick shade is a deep burgundy. MAC’s matte lipstick in the shade Sin is a deep blue-toned red color. It’s a classic shade and one of our favorites!
Another cute lippie is Huda Beauty’s Power Bullet Matte Lipstick in the shade Masquerade. This color is cool-toned as well, but leans more toward a darker purple shade. Purple lippies in fall are a must!
Our final color for some bold lips is a deep berry shade. The difference between this and the burgundy color we mentioned before is the intenseness the berry tones give.

Go big or go home, am I right? Glitter is so fun to use, you can add as little or as much as you want to achieve makeup with sparkle! One of the easiest ways to add glitter is with a glitter liquid liner. The precise brush makes it easy to add small details to your eyes and face.
Our two favorite glitter liners are Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner and the NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner. Some ways you can use these to add a subtle touch of glitter is by applying it to your inner corner or bottom lash line. You can also apply it to your cut crease to take your minimal makeup look to the next level!
If you are looking for an even bolder Thanksgiving makeup look…you’re going to need some more glitter! Liquid glitter shadow is the easiest way to apply glitter all over your lid. ELF’s Liquid Glitter Shadow is super affordable and gives a gorgeous color and shine!
To go even further, get some loose glitter! NYX’s Loose Face and Body Glitter paired with their Long Lasting Glitter Primer is absolutely amazing! To use it, simply apply the glitter primer where you want the glitter to stick, then tap the glitter on top!
Simple and sweet or glittery and bold, no matter your preference, your Thanksgiving makeup is bound to be nothing less than perfect with makeup ideas!
