Vegamour is a highly acclaimed hair care line that has been getting a lot of attention in the media. The question is: is it worth the hype? Our writer put some of their products to the test and was very pleasantly surprised by the results. Here is her Vegamour before and after experience!

She tried two different lines and eight products in total. The Vegamour HYDR-8 and Vegamour Gro+ Advanced replenishing line. The former comes in beautiful rose blush and gold packaging, whereas the latter is housed in yellow and gold packaging. All materials feel very solid and high quality from an initial glance, and these high-quality components bode well for the products housed within. Let’s read her Vegamour before and after review:

Vegamour’s HYDR-8 Repair Line

HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Shampoo

First of all, I was impressed by how the HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Shampoo did an excellent job of purifying and cleansing my scalp. Described as “a clean, ultra-hydrating and restorative shampoo powered by Karmitin (a vegan alternative to keratin) that gently cleanses, flooding hair with instant hydration and vital nutrients to fortify and quench dry and damaged strands.” That’s a lot of hype to live up to, but I was pleased to see this company’s efforts to create a vegan alternative that would be equally or even more effective in hydrating my strands. The shampoo is only on your hair for a minute at best, so it needs to be super effective and work well in tandem with its conditioner.

HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Conditioner

The HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Conditioner is designed to soften and fortify my strands with the same Karmitin compound. I was impressed by how hydrated and resistant to frizz my hair felt in our warm and humid Florida weather. Although my hair is naturally shiny, it’s very easy for areas not reached by scalp-produced oils to feel dry. When the shampoo and conditioner are used in tandem, my hair remains excellent until it’s time for the next wash.

HYDR-8’s Deep Moisture Repair Mask

On days when you have a little more time and don’t want to use their original conditioner, you can opt for HYDR-8’s Deep Moisture Repair Mask. To get the best Vegamour before and after results, I like to use this mask at least once every week and leave it in for at least five minutes after shampooing my hair. This is a game-changer in terms of revitalizing the natural luster and shine of one’s strands. I love it so much! It’s amazing to touch and smell my hair after soaking my hair with this product. This is the epitome of self-care for dry or damaged strands! Try this product out and thank me later.

HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner

After a good wash and conditioning, I always like to include a leave-in conditioner. Vegamour’s HYDR-8 Leave-In Conditioner seemed like a logical addition to my hair care routine. In addition to fighting frizz, it magically detangled my locks so much that I could just effortlessly tame them with a comb. With silky smooth hair after a good blow dry, I was impressed by how much thermal protection this product offered.

Although I don’t typically do more than blow dry my hair, the product would help one’s hair withstand temperatures up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (232.22 °C), meaning you could flat-iron your hair without any worries. A good leave-in conditioner like Vegamour’s is integral for preserving the health of your hair, no matter how you choose to style it.

Vegamour’s GRO+ Advanced Relaxation Line

GRO+ Advanced Replenishing Shampoo

Now we move on to the GRO+ line, which I am equally enamored with. Or perhaps even more so! Vegamour’s GRO+ Advanced Replenishing Shampoo is described as “a clean, nutrient-rich formula powered by our clinically tested, micro-encapsulated, plant-based actives (fortified with broad spectrum CBD) to bring you visibly thicker, fuller and healthier hair.

Proprietary Karmatin, made from vegan b-silk protein, smooths and deeply hydrates and repairs damaged hair cuticles, while wild harvested marula oil, baobab and Ximenia oils help to fight free radical and nourish dry, damaged, fine, and/or textured hair.” Wow! Although I have pretty healthy, non-color treated hair, it’s important to find the absolute best products for preventative, anti-aging measures. This shampoo is meant to be lathered and kept upon the scalp for one minute before washing. I loved how squeaky clean my scalp felt, without any type of uncomfortable, drying sensation. 

GRO+ Advanced Replenishing Conditioner

The next step is to add the GRO+ Advanced Replenishing Conditioner, something I loved even more than the shampoo in this Vegamour before and after experience! In addition to the ingredients included in the shampoo, this conditioner has “organic murumuru butter and wild harvested marula oil to nourish, condition, and restore softness and shine to dry, damaged, fine, and/or textured hair.” The bottle instructs me to apply a quarter-size amount after shampooing and leave it in for two minutes before rinsing. Magic! Whether or not I choose to follow with the Hydr-8 leave-in conditioner, my locks are silky, smooth, and smell glorious.

GRO+ Advanced Hair Care Gummies

In any good hair care routine, one must also include effective nutrition and dietary supplements, so I was delighted to try Vegamour’s GRO+ Advanced Hair Care Gummies. Each gummy is 11 calories and includes 10 milligrams of CBD, a safe and anti-inflammatory agent for long-term anti-aging. “Made with organically grown, broad-spectrum hemp and fortified with biotin, folic acid, zinc, and vitamins A, C, and E for thicker, fuller hair that radiates.”

This vegan, cruelty-free, hormone-free supplement is meant to be taken once a day, and I am happy with its results in tandem with the rest of the products I use. There are so many good ingredients in this bottle that deliver results to not only my tresses but my whole being.

GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum

Last, but certainly not least, this is my favorite product that I tried from my Vegamour before and after experience! That is the GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum, an absolute miracle worker. If there is only one product that you buy today, pick this one. According to the bottle’s description, “GRO+ Advanced Hair Serum uses broad-spectrum hemp in addition to plant-based phytoactives to help calm stressed-out scalps and increase the appearance of hair density and thickness.” A few drops of this serum are meant to be applied daily to the scalp, and the results are expected to show in just a few months!

Invest in yourself with this product, and you will not regret it. Even if you don’t have much hair loss, it’s important for you to preventatively maintain and care for hair health. You cannot go wrong with this serum, and this is one item I will never be without. Even prior to trying the rest of the Vegamour products in this review, I used this serum and have been consistently using it for months. That’s truly why I am qualified to give you the ultimate Vegamour before and after review on this. It’s because I can see the difference, and I’d really like to thank Vegamour for creating such a fantastic product to encourage and maintain healthy hair growth in a topical, non-invasive way.
