Matcha Tiramisu Recipe: A Delectable Fusion of Flavors
Equipamiento
- 2 Mixing bowls
- 1 Electric mixer (or a whisk, though an electric mixer is recommended for whipping the cream)
- 1 Spatula (for folding ingredients together)
- 1 Measuring cups and spoons
- 1 Sifter (for dusting matcha powder)
- 1 Serving dish (or individual cups for serving)
- 1 Plastic wrap (for covering the tiramisu while it chills)
- 1 Refrigerator (for chilling the tiramisu)
- 1 Whisk (if not using an electric mixer)
- 1 Small bowl (for cooling the brewed green tea and dipping ladyfingers)
Ingredientes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup strong brewed green tea cooled
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 2 tbsp matcha powder for dusting
Instrucciones
Prepare the cream mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and sugar. Whip until soft peaks form.
- Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold in 1 tablespoon of matcha powder until fully incorporated.
Assemble the tiramisu:
- Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the cooled green tea, making sure to coat both sides but not soaking them.
- Lay a layer of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving dish or individual cups.
- Spread half of the matcha cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top of the cream.
- Spread the remaining matcha cream mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers.
Chill and serve:
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, dust the top with the remaining matcha powder.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
