  4. Cover your body. A rule of thumb is a teaspoon worth for your face and a shot’s worth for your body.
  5. Sunscreen expires, so make sure you check before you apply.
  6. Spray-on sunscreens are convenient but not always effective.

  • Aloe or some other burn treatment, just in case the sunscreen situation gets a bit messy.
