Do you long for every part of your upcoming wedding to be absolutely perfect? From a champagne breakfast to the last dance, you want every moment to sparkle! So that in your memories that special day is completely magical. An important part of the day is going to be the logistics, which – if done right – will be almost completely invisible because they are so seamlessly arranged. From getting the bride and her parents to the church on time, to later for traveling to the reception, and then onwards to the airport or the honeymoon hotel, you won’t go wrong with a wedding limo. Here are some things you need to know:

Set a Budget

Do some research before you book your limo. Most limo companies hire their vehicles for blocks of 3 or 4 hours at a time, so if you want the limo for the entire day, you must make that clear to the company. You may be offered a discount for hiring more than one limo or party bus for the whole day, so it is important that you have any offers in writing before you assume that they are set in stone. Don’t be tempted to cut your celebrations short, just to save on paying for another block of time: make sure you give yourself enough time to fully savour and enjoy your day.

Don’t Assume (Anything!)

If you have never used a limo service before, you might think that things like bottled water are provided as standard. And indeed, with some companies this might be true: but it is not guaranteed as all about the service offered. In case something that you are expecting is not included, ask about it. The limo hire company can often arrange to cover your requests for a small additional fee, as long as they are made aware in advance. Some things will not be covered, for example, underage drinking is severely frowned upon and can cost the limo driver his or her license: they will respond if they see such inappropriate – criminal even – behavior going on.

Plan a Timeline

Make a timeline of the wedding day well in advance. Once everyone is in agreement, arrange for your designated driver to be given a printed copy, with his requirements clearly stated, for example:

1) Drive the bride to church at 10:00 a.m.
2) Drive the newly-weds to the reception at ABC Hotel at 11:00 a.m., etc.

Once you have finalized these plans, make sure you stick to them as much as possible or give the driver as much notice as possible of any unforeseen issues that might change your plans. Doing this will ensure that the travel on your wedding day is seamless, with the car waiting for you when you are ready, without causing the driver any undue delays.

Book in Advance

As well as getting your timeline drawn up promptly, you should book the limo as soon as you decide you are going to have one on your memorable day. Many NJ limo service cars and limos are booked up months in advance – the average is four to six months ahead – and you do not want to take a chance on not being able to find a limo in time for your special day.

Relax and Enjoy!

Once everything is in place, you can relax and enjoy your memorable day. Limo drivers have clean driving licenses, are often advanced drivers and understand that their working days are your special occasions. They will look after you and make sure that your memories for that day are nothing but happy ones.
